OVERVIEW
Located in Mesquite, Texas, a suburb
of Dallas, the Oberg Law Office was founded in
1997 by Gregg Oberg. Mr. Oberg grew up on a ranch in
central Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska
in 1984 with his Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, and then
continued on to the University of Nebraska’s law school where he
received his Juris Doctorate in 1987. During law school,
Oberg worked as a briefing law clerk for the Attorney General
Office in the State of Nebraska, where he assisted in the
prosecution of criminal appeals, including death penalty cases.
After graduation from law school, Oberg first worked for a noted
downtown Dallas insurance defense law firm, handling litigation
matters for insurance companies. Mr. Oberg then decided to
dedicate his career to help in injured people. He was hired to
supervise litigation for a major personal injury firm in Dallas,
trying many cases to verdict, and settling millions of dollars
of claims and lawsuits. His duties included supervising a staff
of associate attorneys an support staff. Eventually, he
decided that such a large firm environment did not allow each
client to receive the one on one attention that they needed.
Oberg decided to open his own firm, devoted exclusively to
personal injury litigation on behalf of the injured.
In his practice today, Gregg Oberg
focuses on providing each client with personal attention, caring
and compassion. When you hire the Oberg Law Office,
the senior and only attorney is working on your case. You
can be sure your file will not be handed off to a new associate
or an assistant. Mr. Oberg provides each client with
aggressive, zealous representation and works to achieve the best
result possible in each and every case, whether it is an auto
accident, a premises liability claim (slip and fall), or a
workplace injury.
The Oberg Law Office
has been rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, they’re highest
rating for both legal ability and ethical standards. He
serves on the State Bar of Texas Disciplinary Grievance Panel,
where he evaluates complaints against other lawyers for
malpractice or ethics violations. Gregg Oberg is also a
certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer by the Texas Board of
Legal Specialization and a member of the Mesquite Bar
Association, Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Trial
Lawyers Association and American Trial Lawyers Association.
He is active in his children’s school, and is an Approved
